Great local pool. Always clean and tidy. Under cover kids pool for the little ones. Undercover bbq facilities available. Can be busy with locals but still big enough to accommodate everyone . Indoor pool available for swimming lessons. Has shaded areas in grandstand and heaps of grass for the kids to play on. Has canteen for snacks and drinks also. Could use a freshen up as its getting a bit tired.

I've been visiting the pool for years and generally have a pleasant time. I've always supervising my children either when swimming in the big pool or the children's one. I had one situation recently when my son was training for his first swimming carnival. The pool was busy, the recreational area was full of kids bombing and playing rough so I took him to the slow lane to practice his swimming styles. I had my youngest together to observe and she was swimming close to the entry steps of the lane to keep cool. I was swimming slowly following my son and I got instructed from the lifeguard that we should move to recreational area. I explained her that we're not playing but I'm supervising my son (who was on the other side starting his lap at the moment) but she insisted of all of us to move out from the slow lane and go practice in the area where the rest of the kids are. 🙄 letting me wondering how can you practice laps in a recreational area. Was the problem my youngest? Should I have left her unsupervised at recreational area? Or a 10 year old practicing his swimming ? Are only adults allowed in the slow lane?
