Lovely views across the inlet from the cabins. We really enjoyed sitting on the verandas each day. We had a family trip with 5 cabins between us. Clearly some of the cabins had been more recently renovated which were lovely. Others weee still quite dated. However I am assuming they will also be getting renovated soon. That being said, we had a very enjoyable stay. The camp kitchen is modern and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly too.

Not the best caravan park we have been to. I was here at this caravan park nearly 15 years ago and not much has changed. The bathrooms look like they have had a renovation but the shower heads were the old ones that were very poor so not sure why these were not upgraded with the rest of the bathroom Reno?? The park has a heap of permanent sites and it doesn’t compliment the park at all. The site fees for caravans is quite high and I am not sure why?? We’ve stayed at other parks with better facilities and direct access to the beach or lake and the prices were no where near the price here. There were no rubbish bins in the caravan area or the cabins for that matter. They were located at the entry gate outside?? Not sure why?? But we weren’t to happy to have to walk to the front gate to empty our small caravan bin. The camp kitchen dining area was occupied all night by local residents and there was no other options. The camp kitchen lights turned off at 9:30pm even though the sign states 10:00pm. The water around the park was very swampy and had an odour to it?? Not the waterfront we were thinking?? The park overall was clean and tidy. There were some new cabins at the waterfront which looked really nice and cosy. We did notice that next door to the premium cabins were two tent sites?? And people in the tents were very noisy with loud music and loud voices. I wouldn’t be happy to pay premium dollar for a waterfront cabin and have people pay a fraction of the price for waterfront views in a powered tent site. Just saying. I’m not trying to be rude with my review only asking these questions?? I would stay here again if I was needing a caravan site overnight or short stay. Sometimes it’s the finishing touches that make the world of difference like the shower heads?? Charge premium but also give premium is my thought?? There was also limited access to the water as there were cabins or other sites that you needed to walk past in order to gain access. Felt uncomfortable walking past peoples cabins and or sites. Look forward to seeing some changes the next time we are in town. It’s a pity because it’s got a great location and it feels 2-3 star at the best.
