Great facilities and fantastic 50m pool with clean, cool water. However, the pool, toilets and showers are not accessible. 5 star facilities with 1 star accessibility. Hence, the rating. If you are in a wheelchair or have prominent mobility impairments, you won't be able to get to the pool, toilets or showers. No lifts, no ramps. Very strange, because students with physical disabilities do exist in Sydney Uni and there are plenty of people with disabilities in the local community too. But none of them can swim in Sydney Uni pool. You just can't get in and can't get out, unless someone carries you. Its 2025, maybe it's time to upgrade? So it's truly all inclusive and not just pretty words in Sydney Uni promotional materials. P.S. Since I could not reply to the response from the owner... Here it is as an addition to my initial review. I swim at Sydney Uni pool regularly. There is no wheelchair access whatsoever to the pool. There are stairs to get to the pool and there is a ladder to get out of the pool. There are no wheelchair ramps to access toilets and showers from the pool. Accessing showers is only possible via stairs. No ramps and no lifts whatsoever in the pool itself - photos prove that. Whoever responded to my comment clearly has no clue about accessibility of their own facilities :) Dear sir or madam, please be informed that climbing stairs in a wheelchair is impossible, just like it's impossible for such a person to get out of the pool independently via ladder. Please educate yourself about your facilities and about the meaning of accessibility.

The kids swimming lessons here are excellent. Much more streamlined booking and cancellation/makeup-lesson system than other places. Teachers are fantastic, my kids are progressing so much faster now and building confidence in the water. Wish we'd moved here sooner!
