Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park

We recently spent three nights at Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park in our caravan, accompanied by my husband and our two young children (aged 2 and 3). The stay was thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded our expectations. The local wildlife—particularly the ducks and possums—was a delightful highlight, leaving the children absolutely captivated. The park’s facilities were excellent, with the splash park, swimming pool, and playground all conveniently located nearby. The beach was only a short walk from the opposite end of the park, providing a perfect balance of activities for families. We stayed on sites 508 and 509 alongside friends, which worked well, though we have already earmarked another site for our next visit as it offers generous shade and is situated very close to the beach. Although I had read some negative reviews prior to our trip, our own experience was entirely positive. The staff were welcoming and helpful, even going so far as to repair a pedal bike on the spot so we could enjoy riding it immediately. Overall, we found Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park to be a wonderful destination for families, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Had a short trip away from Sydney with my family. This caravan park is nothing short of amazing, and I feel like pretty much everything to accommodate a person in a wheelchair like me has been though of, from on site hoists, height adjustable kitchen benches, even a ramp into the swimming pool, and a water safe wheelchair to take guests in. The really enjoyed the onsite sensory room- a calming, dimly lit room with soothing music and soft lighting, as well as fluffy cushions to sit on and patterns and textures to relax and rejuvenate the eyes and brain. Can’t wait to come back!
