I have been to several franchised gyms across Sydney and agree with many other reviews that SOMA is outstanding. Equipment always appears clean and well maintained, unlike many other gyms I’ve been too that have rusty cables or seat pads peeling. There’s enough space between machines so it’s not too crowded. The atmosphere and ambience is definitely one of its pluses – it’s quiet and relaxing, dim but not dark – as its name ‘health and wellness club’ suggests. I particularly like the sauna and bath facility as personally it really makes a big difference to post-workout comfort. Even the hairdryer is nice to use. Fob is provided for after-hours access. Parking is not easy as with any location in Sydney CBD but close enough to Martin Pl metro.

One of Sydney's most prestigious and results-driven gyms! I have been training at SOMA for close to 2 years now and I could not recommend it more highly. From the staff to the amenities, every detail is meticulously executed. The space is beautiful with state of the art equipment and recovery centre. The staff are not only attentive but well educated in their fields which enables them to give well rounded insights that are tailored to your journey. I am always greeted by name when I walk in for my sessions and I absolutely love being part of this wonderful community!
