Good place to stay while passing through. Relaxed campground. Pet friendly. Good price for location and in comparison to others around Byron (it was $30 for us in a van per night - in peak period). It’s about a 30minute walk from Byron and a 6minute drive. Nothing else close by, however there is a lovely little cafe a few minutes walk. Toilets were clean. Showers aren’t the nicest but that didn’t bother us. There is also a camp kitchen. Caretaker was lovely. There are permanents living there - but they were friendly and didn’t bother us. Nothing overally special but great place to stay if you’re wanting to check out Byron for a decent price. Thank you!!

The new caretaker is doing an amazing job, gave a refresh to the camp kitchen which is not big but really nice to use. The campsite is peaceful and we enjoyed our stay here :) We paid 60$/ night for 3 people. Toilets and showers were clean.
