Whilst grown adult men should know that it is simple politeness and hygienic to use a towel on gym equipment many do not nor even wipe it at the very least when done. There are plenty of signs around saying no workout if no towel but the staff do nothing ( my experience today) and I think it needs to be enforced to maintain the gyms cleanliness. It is evident that the gym does not currently attempt to maintain a basic hygienic gym standard besides putting up signs that are ignored by too many.
