NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort

As someone who grew up in South West Rocks for most of my life, I’ve never had another place make me feel so at home. This resort is absolutely gorgeous,the beach is breathtaking, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere just feels comforting. The only thing to note is the housekeeping: if you’re still in your room, they won’t clean or change your towels, so you do have to pick them up yourself. Apparently that’s just how their system works. Other than that, everything was amazing. There’s a great local pub perfect for family dinners, and they even do buffets (we sadly missed it this time). There’s plenty for the kids the bouncing pillow was a huge hit and they practically lived on it. You can also rent bikes to ride together, and the park has plenty of space for caravans. We stayed in a playground house, which was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids while cooking or relaxing. They’ve got electric BBQs that work well, plus the ones that come with the accommodation, though we couldn’t quite figure those out, the public one still did the job! Overall, an easy 10/10. We’d definitely go again… and again.

We enjoyed a week here with our caravan. It gets very busy on the weekends however there is plenty of space to relax in. Our ensuite was a great choice, towels and shampoos supplied. A short stroll and you are right on the sand and beautiful beach. We didn't try the pool as it wasn't heated, we had a few cooler days. The wifi is also very slow and difficult to pick up. Staff in the office are really friendly and helpful. The cafe is also really convenient with good coffee. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
