Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast

We’ve stayed at Kooindah Waters several times and for good reason. The rooms are spacious and super clean and whisper quiet. We stayed in a room with an amazing room of the golf course (well worth it!) especially waking up amd stepping out onto the balcony for sunrise. There’s also 2 beautiful swimming pools, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor. Both pools absolutely stunning. Breakfast is fit for a king with eggs cooked the way you like as well an array of assorted cheese. The staff are wonderful, there to help out whenever you holler. Shout out to favourite staffer, Tim, who goes out his way to make our experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Kooindah will always be our go-to luxury hotel. Thank you

Okay, but not great. Very conveniently located in the middle of the Central Coast, close to the Motorway. Very scenic surrounds including a championship-quality golf course. Excellent restaurant on site. Staff were okay. While the resort has some great features, the rooms aren't that great for what you pay for them. Are quite large but lack many basic amenities: no mini-bar or snacks, no Netflix/Foxtel etc just some hotel-selected films to watch plus free-to-air TV channels and FoxSports. There are Netflix etc apps on the TV menu but these don't work. Casting your phone to the TV doesn't work either, even though the TVs have a 'Cast' option. Bathroom is an accident and lawsuit waiting to happen: a bath-shower combo with no handrails or anything to grab onto when getting out of the shower-bath.
