Beautiful spot to relax and swim. Plenty of shade options and a steep grassy bank which gives you a good view of the beach. No shade on the beach so bring umbrellas unless you like baking in the sun. Lots of picnic benches and other seating to choose from on the concourse. Good amenities and food options nearby. Only a short walk through the mall to get to Manly surf beach.

You’ll find it down by the jetty landing, between the Corso and the Gallery, where you can watch the Manly Ferry cut its way to Circular Quay as you slip into the salty water to practice your Australian Crawl. Feeling really bloody Strayan for finally swimming at this iconic location, in a very large netted enclosure with views that go all the way to the Heads, we liked this one and would return if in the ‘hood and the parking gods were feeling amenable.
