I stayed in lyf Bondi the first time for a weekend holiday and I was very happy with my stay. My room was quite spacious, comfy and had all the amenities I needed. The location was so convenient and located right next to Westfield mall, lots of shops, restos and public transportation. I was traveling alone and I felt very safe to go around even late at night. They also had few inhouse events in the propery at the time like taking photo with Santa and a band playing live music - such a vibe! A big shoutout to Christian, Timo and the whole team for a warm welcome! Happy holidays!

The location is excellent, with easy access to the city centre and beaches like Bondi and Bronte. The hotel is right next to the shopping centre and close to Bondi Junction’s main area, which makes everything very convenient. The property itself is beautiful and offers useful facilities such as a shared kitchen, laundry room, and the option to store your luggage at reception if your room isn’t ready for check-in. The room is small, but functional and cosy. I liked it! The shower is great as well; I just want to mention that due to the design of the shower screen, someone from outside can see the silhouette of the person showering. It didn’t bother me, but I think it’s worth noting for other guests. I also missed having basic utensils like plates and cutlery in the room, which would have made simple meals much easier. Regarding the staff, my experience was mixed — some team members were very attentive, while others were not as friendly or helpful. A few aspects, however, were disappointing. Breakfast was one of the weakest I’ve had in a hotel, with very few options and only sachet coffee available, with no machine or anything more substantial. The room cleanliness also fell short — the shower had visible marks and the floor clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. The biggest downside for me was the lack of housekeeping throughout the entire stay. I understand it may be part of an eco-friendly policy, but I believe there are other ways to support the environment without compromising guest comfort. I asked at reception if it would be possible to have at least the towels changed or the bins emptied; they told me yes, but it never happened. Overall, unfortunately, it’s not a hotel I would return to anytime soon.
