Very unpleasant stay. I stayed at little drifter hostel for 8 nights, 4 female room superior. the location is great 2 min walking from the beach, but that’s it. The hostel is not accessible for someone with disabilities, there isn’t a lift so you have to carry all your bags up and down the stairs. The common areas are all underground with no natural light and they close at 11pm, which is absurd to me you can’t access your own food or have a glass of water. Also half of the kitchen doesn’t work, 4/8 stove top are broken. The room was a decent size but it was a superior, the en-suite bathroom is so small when you sit on the toilet your knees touch the wall in front of you. It’s like a plane bathroom. The staff is always in bad mood, I had to ask for multiple times for 2 days for a clean rug for the shower, and they tried to gaslight me telling me “they always clean the room every day and change the rug”, I don’t know maybe they think they clean the room just emptying the trash can. Therefore I had 3 English roommates who came in late at night drunk, loud and eating crappy and smelly food on the floor at 3 am. I called the night reception because I couldn’t sleep, “I’m so sorry, but we can’t do anything right now”, so I had to stay in that situation. Not to mention there isn’t enough storage space inside the room, the “closet” is so small and without shelfs you can’t really use it. The hostel is quite expensive compared to others, it’s definitely not worth it.

You are mostly paying for the location as the beach is very close. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The lounge/dining spots are limited and the kitchen is cramped. The private rooms sleep 2 but barely have storage for 1, while the washroom is like showering in a phone booth where you can accidentally step in a toilet. There were some cool group activities.
