Killalea campground

Clean, updated amenities. Bathroom block recently rebuilt. Downfall is site are quite close together so you can hear conversation of your neighbours when you’re trying to sleep. Most campsites have slope. We stayed on site 21 which is a corner site not too far from amenities. The first row sites just off from the amenities will be very bright at night as the amenities block light stays on. Sites 31 and 32 look great for larger groups too at a lower price to booking the group sites. Campground is part of Killalea Regional Park which is great to explore if first time. Get up early and catch sunrise at The Farm.

Great spot for family camping. Great camp kitchen area with BBQ and covered eating space, beautiful beach 5min walk away, native wildlife including resident friendly owl & red bellies 🐍 😂, Hot showers and good size grassy spaces for tents & campers. Many of the sites for tents/campers are on a slope, so if you have a camper bring a ramp to level it. Only lost a star due to no bench in showers to place your items and water pressure could be better, and the sloppy ground making it difficult to level campers and pitch tents.
