I'm giving this place 4 stars not because of quality of amenities or services available but for its minimalistic charm and beautiful location right on the banks of the Hawksbury River . Designed primarily for caravans , campervans and boats. It boasts enough space to cater for all these. I've been there 4 times recently with my mobile home and never had a problem getting a parking space. If your staying for a night or more get stocked up with supplies because other than a mobile coffee van there is nothing else. There are rudimentary toilets . I think around 4 to 6. Using them is akin to using the toilets on a plane; always queues , unisex and void of any home comforts. If you use your imagination and pretend you are actually going on a plane trip to an exotic location its helps deal with it better . Oh, and be nice to your neighbours too. You never know when you'll need them. 😉🤣 I've already helped a guy jump start their car, such is the infectious sense of community there. . Finally , the views come straight from a postcard of Wales or Scotland or Norway. Truly stunning and act as a glorious buffer to the sound of traffic from the M1 motorway . Thus far this place has not been commercialised. Be greatful for small miracles. Let's hope that and it's charm stays preserved.
