If you’re looking for a “premium” gym that feels more like a gym equipment garage sale, Fitness First PLATINUM Crows Nest is the place. NOTHING about this gym feels premium/platinum. The bathrooms consistently stink and are littered with tissue paper. Finding weights? Good luck. They're either missing or scattered around the floor in random corners. And the staff? Completely indifferent. You’ll feel like a headless chicken roaming around. Sure, the gym offers group classes and a swimming pool, but that alone doesn’t qualify it as premium. A clean, well-maintained space should be the bare minimum. Anytime Fitness in St Leonards(besides being just at the train station) does a much better job: it’s clean & organised. I love this gym - it’s not huge and overwhelming but it’s well equipped, has some excellent PTs and great amenities. However it’s the people who transform this place from an intimidating weights room into a positive environment where you will be supported and encouraged. It’s also the perfect gym if you like a bit of social interaction in between sets. On that note, huge shout out to Ashleigh. Definitely my fave person to see on reception - friendly, helpful and just an all round great human - makes each session a little brighter ☀️
