I've been going to this gym for over 10 years, so time to update my review from 7 years ago. Great gym. Even better with refresh that looks about 90% complete now. Range of facilities and classes diverse enough for all, with plenty of Personal Trainers if interested in upping your game or keeping you committed. Almost all the equipment has been replaced (new machines), with flooring, lighting, lockers etc makeover in last month with a bit more work to go. So if you have visited before but not in the last month check it out. Staff and trainers are all friendly. Since others are calling out their recommended Trainers, I'll recommend Jason. Great motivator. Love the regularly changing programs tailored to match your specific goals. He's the one in front of the mirror (where PTs love to hang). Also shout out to super effervescent and friendly Eva.

I am new to this gym. I used to go to the Pitt Street Fitness First, so I thought the two gyms operated the same way. I went to the gym tonight for a swim. I left the swimming pool area at 7:00 pm and assumed the female change room was still open, as it is at Pitt Street Fitness First. However, a gym staff member named Ryan came into the female change room and started yelling at me and other customers, saying that the gym was closed. I asked him to please be polite and explained that I would leave as soon as possible, but he continued to yell at me multiple times. I also explained to him that I am new to this gym and was not aware of the change room closing time. I suggested that the gym should clearly display the closing time on the female change room door so that members won’t get confused in the future. Despite this, he kept yelling at me and another customer. His behaviour was aggressive and unnecessary. I left immediately after I understood the timetable, but I was in such a rush that I lost my bikini in the gym. At first, I thought only certain areas, such as the swimming pool, would close earlier—not the entire gym. I was also confused because I thought this was a 24-hour gym. His abusive behaviour was absolutely unacceptable. A staff member should never treat customers this way. I cried on my way home because of how he made me feel. 😭
