Whenever I am in the eastern suburbs I always head to Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club -😁because they always have a free car park! ( which in comparison to Bondi is a paid car park). During the day the surf life saving club patrols the area making it very safe for everyone enjoying the sea. It is always adequately maintained whenever I go there doesn't seem to be any rubbish left around... the people sunbathing swimming are all very personable and relaxed which is probably due to the cool Vibe of being so close to the sea and the good salt air. The public facilities are also very good, there are shower change rooms toilets which are always clean when I go there and there is a cafe with reasonably priced food on offer and wine and alcohol which are not overpriced. This beach caters for all ages, nationalities shapes and sizes. Due to the location, ease and free parking the facilities the Vibe the crowd I give the Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club a 5 out of 5.

Great place swimming both rough and flat water. Surf club possibly the closest one to water. Or maybe Coogee.
