When you’ve been counting down the days to your holiday, the last thing you want is to end up in a nightmare hotel. I spent so long carefully choosing a place… but unfortunately, I still picked the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in — by far. The room condition and facilities were honestly worse than a roadside motel. Please, please read this if you’re looking for accommodation in Coffs Harbour — you MUST avoid this hotel. It was terrible. What I experienced: • Front desk staff (female receptionist) had a completely dismissive and impatient attitude — asking anything felt like a bother. • As soon as I entered the room, a strong musty, mouldy smell hit me. There was even a large used tissue with blood sitting visibly on the floor near the bed. • The facilities are extremely old, run-down and dirty. • No room card — just a basic key and a very insecure lock. • The shower products were tiny sample bottles with extremely poor quality. • Bathroom towels had clear old blood stains (two of them!). • The hair dryer was so greasy and filthy that the smell alone made me feel sick. If you’re planning to visit Coffs Harbour — trust me — do NOT book this hotel. I’ve travelled a lot, and this is truly the dirtiest, oldest, most disappointing accommodation I’ve ever stayed in.

We are staying here for almost 2 weeks. Rooms serviced once a week, bit poor for a resort. Golf course not well maintained. Water ways dirty water. Footpaths are good, rooms are good but a bit small and not enough power points. Not alot to do... we like the beach which we could access no towels or umbrellas or lifesaver there tho. Tennis court, kids area, basketball available at an extra cost. On site bar and grill ... watch the fish and lizards whilst eating, good food reasonable prices, busy on fri and sat night. Does breakfast but at $28 per person it's a bit extravagant each day. They make a great coffee tho
