I recently attended a Jiu-Jitsu tournament at this sports center, and while the competition itself was well-organized with many skilled competitors, there were several disappointing aspects that marred the experience. Firstly, there were no showers available for competitors which is a basic facility for any sports event. Competing in such a physically demanding sport, athletes were left without a way to freshen up. This was uncomfortable for everyone, and it felt quite unhygienic, especially considering the large number of participants. Additionally, charging fees for spectators to watch felt excessive. It’s understandable to have some entry fee, but the combination of lacking facilities and spectator charges made it feel like the focus was more on profit than providing a quality experience for athletes and fans. With better facilities and a more thoughtful approach to fees, this could have been a great event. I hope the organizers take this feedback seriously for future tournaments.
