Bondi Shores Accommodation

Only putting one star because there's not another option. If you like showering with friends (the cockroaches, everyone's hair etc) then this place is excellent for you!! We couldn't even touch the walls in the shower because nothing looked to be cleaned in months. Our bed was filled with dust. We checked out half an hour late and was charged $25 even still with the horrible cleanliness. I would never go back, I dreaded even going back to the hostel the 2 nights we stayed there. We dared not eat in the hostel in case any of our shower friends joined us. The toilets had wet toilet paper in a pile beside them with water and pee everywhere, and some were pissing toilet paper and door locks. If we went to the bathroom, we couldn't sit on the seat because of the mess. When we arrived, there were 15+ garbage bags piled up at the bottom of the stairs that smelt worse than the stench pouring out of the men's bathroom (which was bad enough). We paid $35 each night for a twin room. Trust me, even if it's more expensive, spend your money elsewhere!!!

Terrible accommodation...NEVER stay here! Firstly the ladies on check-in were quite nice but unfortunately that's were the positives end... Admittedly, this is my fault to choosing to stay here however still don't want people to make the same mistake I did. This hostel is dirty, unhygienic and old. The room was very basic, as mentioned very dirty and unacceptable for $70/ night for a private room. I don't expect hostels to be immaculate however some standard of basic hygiene and cleanliness would be expected. This hostel is VERY noisy, again I expect hostels to be a little noisy however they take it to a whole new level. There is a pub downstairs and I realise they are separate businesses however when there is live music downstairs tell your guests so they are aware and can make plans to avoid it (especially at 9:30pm on a Sunday night). Wasn't mentioned to us on check in nor did they tell us that it would be noisy from 9-11pm as we could of made plans to avoid this. Our room was above where the band was playing and it was vibrating, rattling and shaking the floorboards. We were in there for 5 mins and both me and my partner had a headache. So we decided to leave as the noisy was unbearable especially for the next 2 hrs!!! So had to pay for this room plus another hostel...not happy!!! They have refused to refund that 1 nights accommodation for providing an inadequate level of service. Do all yourselves a favour and avoid at all costs. This place is a joke and its embarrassing.
