Balance Collective Mayfield

Be me: Pay for a trial; as I have recently moved nearby. Receive no tour of the facilities, so had to figure out where everything was. Like, c'mon hey, pretty basic stuff... And also zero explanation on how the lockers worked or what would be required to use them. (I had my own padlock and key with me) Which lead to myself temporarily locking my bag in with no way to retrieve them; I then had to provide my wallet as collateral for a $2 coin to access said lockers... Essentially get an "oh well" (not even hyperbole) when I remark that it would have been nice to be shown around as it took me awhile to figure out where everything was located for my circuit. I honestly wanted my $7 back but I'm not that petty and any place that is that tight on a trial probably needs it more than I do. There are heaps of gyms around Newcastle without the nonsense that provide a significantly better experience.

We have tried getting our 4 year old back into swimming twice in the last year with no success. Our lessons would consist of screaming , crying and just flat out refusal of getting in the water. After someone mentioned Trudy perhaps being the right fit for our girl, we decided to give it one more go. By week 2 , Trudy has managed to get our daughter in the water without Dad or me in the pool, she was smiling , laughing and engaging in the lesson. After months of trying with multiple teachers and no success we are so glad that swimming is now an enjoyable part of our week rather than a stress. Cannot rate her enough 👍🏼
