Anytime Fitness Kingsford

Gym is spacious and has most machines however upper management of anytime is horrendous. Over my whole time here there has been no process about kicking ppl out for not using towels. But recently they have begun to do so without warning, approaching people mid set and kicking them out only if they accept to buy a ‘$10 anytime fitness towel’ Within the two years I’ve been here they’ve also upped their prices twice. Last but not least a lot of these 5 star reviews are here due to the staff approaching members mid-sessions and asking for it (explaining the lack of detail on many of these reviews). I have removed my 5 star review and altered it to this one to better reflect the customer service of this gym. Whilst this gym does have nice equipment and is in a good location, the way they treat their members is truely horrific

This one sucks. Dunno what half the reviewers here are vaping (dont doubt the reviewer below that complains of vapers in the gym) or getting in free merch for reviews. Standards are low. Downstairs: 1 disabled toilet, the floor usually smells bad and air flow/air con weak. Dank is a good word. Often packed with groups of male uni students.. I dont mind the boys, but totally understand why the 1 star reviews seem to be mostly female. Upstairs: a dirty unisex bathroom with half the toilets/cubicles seemingly permanently out of order - nowhere to really get changed, or get clean. A busy gym floor with older equipment, sometimes also out of order. They recently put their prices up - I called them to ask why and they brought the fee increase forward a month ! Predatory contract behaviour... even though I've never signed a contract with Kingsford theyre trying to get me to sign up for a price increase? I only come here to work out with a mate, and I'm choosing to cancel even though the kensington gym 2 min up the road is brand new and much better. Good thing they did increase the membership fees here though, as I actually made an effort to find a cheaper gym.. only a matter of time before the uni students work out that a rival 24/7 gym just behind the kingsford anytime is 40% cheaper with no lock in contract.
