PROS: - This place is a decent price for membership (~$25 a week) and the staff are very nice and friendly - It's quiet most of the time, except school holidays when the hotel is extra busy (I presume) so no dealing with gym muppets - towels provided, and plenty of them - free fruit (sometimes) - The pool is a nice bright space in the daytime - plenty of parking (usually) CONS: - The place is focused on hotel guests and as a member, they aren't too fussed about you (took me about 3 goes to get a week trial pass) - The place is looking a bit rough around the edges, bulbs are out and not replaced etc. The sauna is a bit dark these days... - showers regularly run cold, especially when busy - Pool can get very busy during school holidays, but generally ok - Pool is nice but short (15 m ) if you're focused on swimming - lockers regularly do not work (electronic lock) and one time my stuff got locked inside one (it was rescued by the staff) - No cold plunge :( - Some users seem to think it's their own personal gym, with clothes left out, hung up, generally in the way, rather than in lockers - Feels a bit old and run down, to be honest - Always seems to be towels all over the place, but reckon that's partly due to some people not managing to get their towel to the bin provided...

Went yesterday, spa, floor and showers were all dirty, worse than last time I went 3 months ago. Piles of towels near the shower, piles of dirty towels in the womans change room. Luke warm spa, busy and expensive. Oh and still have flaking paint in spa.
