Pleasant escape from the more tourist-orientated sites around Canberra, but with a thread of history to make the journey worthwhile. Good campsites within the grounds, as well as clean facilities. Good water supplies for campers, as well numerous easy and challenging walking trails.

Great camping area, drop toilets but lots of space to camp. Fire places but bring your own wood or the Rangers will fine you. You need to stop in and pay at the Namadgi Visitor Centre before coming up the hill. No showers, but BBQs and other facilities.
