Abode Belconnen

Stayed at Abode Belconnen and was really impressed! The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped, having a kitchenette and washer/dryer made it super convenient. The location is fantastic too, right near the mall, cafes, and the lake, so everything is within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Parking was easy to access, and the lobby café served great coffee to start the day. Overall, it’s a comfortable and stylish place that’s perfect for a short stay or even a longer trip to Canberra. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Belconnen area, excellent value and a great experience!

We recently stayed at the abode hotel. The location is excellent with the Woolworths Metro opposite the front doors. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor which does room service. The food from room service was also excellent. All of the staff were very helpful and happy to assist with anything we require required. Accessibility issues were the lift says it is on the fourth floor when it is on the third floor. It also says it is on the fourth floor when it is on the fourth floor. As someone with low vision I had trouble working out the difference. The second accessibility issue was in the room, the bathroom is not on the same level as the rest of the room and has black tiles. The tiles that go down to the passage I want a slight angle and the carpet is also black. There is no contrast so that you can see there is a step. The bathroom is well laid out as is the bedroom with a cupboard and PowerPoint next to each side of the bed. The dining lounge and Kitchener area were a good size and there is a washing machine/dryer in the Kitchener area as well. We were very happy with the accommodation as I was staying with someone else they were able to help me with the lift and they were able to tell me about the step in the bathroom.
